What do you have when you mix lights, cameras, a group of adorably FUN talented people with one life of the party Creative Director who’s cackle of laughter puts Gargamel to shame?
The most fabulous Avon photoshoot in a hot New York minute weekend.
There I was with under 2 hours of sleep and couldn’t have felt more alive as we whizzed thru series of sassy different looks. I was so jazzed to kick off this partnership with Avon for it’s 2010 catalog of fresh fashion for every woman, and especially loved how interchangable their pieces are to mix for day or evening. Avon is featuring flirty dresses in fab colors, comfy leggings for over the knee boots, and great stylistic jewelry for Boho chics and you glam girlies out there. Besides feeling gorgeous thanks to all the terrific wardrobe to choose from (Grazie Giuseppe and Claudia!), every element of this team was immaculate. Even Ellen, the reason why I connected with the heart of Avon, showed up to share the special day! I also had the honor of meeting one of my lifelong inspirations from my MAC Cosmetics days– the one and only Frances Hathaway.
For all of you makeup mavens out there, you can understand this megastar stricken moment for me considering she is truly a living legend for looks. My passion for makeup is fiery because of her timeless tips, and after years of having my makeup applied with terrific artists, Frances sculpted my face in a way I have never seen. Even my stylist pulled me aside and just stared in awe at her work. What a momentous day–and I am so excited about this year ahead with Avon.
Thank you so much to the entire team! Stay tuned for the unveiling of the pics, and a list of my Hathaway-must-have Makeup when you seeĀ it how great it looks

Frances Hathaway!? ahhhh! omg! she’s a legend!
Jeannie,
Do you have a website I can visit with tips on how to dress. I try and keep an eye out for your tips on style but I would like to vist a site more often.
Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!
Omg, I love this story. But now I’ll never enjoy the ocean sound either!! Thanks for sharing- great name btw too!
Howdy! I’m at work surfing around your blog from my new iphone! Just wanted to say I love reading through your blog and look forward to all your posts! Carry on the fantastic work!
