We all know how to make our July 4th smashtastic! Ahhh, I love being featured on the same page as one of Mai favorite movie superstars, Dev Patel. I always love these things because I do wonder what the heck everyone else does. I just reported today at Extra that George Clooney’s lil boat excursion was poppin, literally with fallen fireworks. Our family plans fell apart, so I went 3 hours south to Washington D.C. to watch the National Mall fireworks. Spectacular! However, I was misinformed and stood next to the Washington Monument thinking they would explode overhead. Instead they were shot from and exploded above the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool. So, next year I’m grabbing 2-3 family members and we’re sitting on the steps of that Memorial! New tradition.

I don’t celebrate July 4th. I actually hate the sound of firecrackers going off all night. In my neighborhood it usually starts a week before the 4th, and lasts a couple of days after, with firecrackers going off all night. So I just stay in with all the doors and windows closed.
