Ahhh… I’m feeling pretty fantastic right now. Why you ask? Because, friends… I’m just moments away from landing in mai most favorite city in the entire universe. New York!! Oh em gee- I couldn’t be more excited even though I slept all of 2 hours on this dang flight. Maybe it was because I was having sugarplum visions of what I was going to eat and see there in Manhattan. (Does anyone else have that problem?? Where it’s nighttime and when you should be sleeping you’re too busy envisioning what you’re going to be eating the next day for b, l, and dinner?? Foodmares I tell you…in my dreams I’m obese.) Anyway, every couple of months I make it a point to get some work done in NYC, and while there I catch up on all the fabulous shopping of the season and yummies that I’m googling back home. Ready to salivate? Here are a few hot spots where you’ll be sure to find mai tracks at this week!

The Big Gay Ice Cream Truck- This guy’s adorable!!!! I can’t even stand it… even his truck looks scrumptious! Pumpkin butter syrup to nutella lined waffle cones..all soft served with a smile. I’m hoping to meet the creator, Mr. Douglas Quint, and get him to take a pic with me.  I just love people who make others feel wonderful, so hopefully I’ll spot this yummy celeb. (Thanks Joannie for the lead!)

Serendipity’s Frozen Hot Chocolate. Ok. So this one is such a classic that I’m wayyy 2000-late for, but real talk: I was never interested in frozen hot anything until I recently watched Rachael Ray take her man there and what did I see??? Speed up to clip 1:47 to smell what I’m cookin.

That’s right..frozen PEANUT BUTTER??  Ok.. anybody who knows me knows I’m a peanaholic. I’m always on the search for the tastiest, nutty buttery bombtastic dish, and this sounds delish. (Btw, if you know of any major peanut butter yummies I need to have, do tell!) And of course the movie makes it all the better. Can’t wait to drag mai man there to sip up half the calories for me!

I have more on my mouthwatering list, but I just got a stern “Ma’am, we can’t land until you power down your computer, ma’am.”  She wagged her finger at me, too..almost like she was saying, “Don’t make me turn this plane around young lady.”
