Mai Closet – “The Terror of Tiny Tops”
2010
Oh Jenny, Jenny, Jenny! Such a cute and funny gal, but she definitely needed my help bad. Before she came on the show, she was stealing her seven-year-old daughter’s t-shirts, which she would cut and then wear. I wasn’t a fan of her fashion sense (neither was her daughter!) and it was safe to say it was time she started picking out shirts that were her own size. Luckily, it didn’t take much for Jenny to see how crucial fit is to fashion. I can’t tell you HOW OFTEN THIS IS A REPEAT PROBLEM many women never seem to get! Say it with me all: When you don’t have fit, you don’t have fashion. No matter how hot an item is, if it doesn’t fit you, you’ll look unstylish in it.
Once she was wearing tops that fit, she rocked anything she tried on. And she looked absolutely fab in the reveal.
Curious about what I was wearing? Well, look no further, it’s another Mai Closet:

This was a fun and flashy dress. Curious about it’s designer? You’re going to have to check out my blog on www.mystyle.com to find out who created it.

[...] way, I can’t shake it off me. There isn’t an episode of my Style Network show, “How Do I ...

That last dress was such a show-stopper! Too bad it seems your mystyle blog hasn’t been updated since mid-October.
Great episode, by the way!
I really love this dress and my girls alway watch your show. Lol please let me know where I can find a dress like this. Thank u.
This is my first time on your site…I watch your show all the time. I recently became obsessed with fashion since I lost some weight. I was a tomboy. I absoluteyl positively love your style ! I really appreciate the fact that you take the time out to breakdown your looks. Thank you!
I’m so terribly sorry about this. I’m going to begin listing all the designers to my outfits for you guys so you can get your hands on em. Thanks for the note.
Hi Jeannie !!! I truly like your style and I’m big fun of yours. Thank you very much for posting the pictures of your clothes . and for sharing where you got them from. I like that many of the clothes are affordable, you know we have to keep our budget at least for us students is a must
. I hope that someday you can open your own clothing line which I know will be fun, chic, edgy and fabulous AND affordable as well ^^ ! (I wish I can do that too
I wish the best of the best for you and for the HDIL? crew . God bless you all ^^ ! xoxo
You always look good. I would like to know the name of the store which Jenny’s mother was shopping. There was a pair of twotone, I think silver/beige shoes in the background. Who is the designer, I would like to purchase them.
Thanks
Cathe’
I love the looks you put together!! The Lipsy London dress is my favorite of the episode! How can I found out where Jenny’s looks came from, they were very cute too!
In episode, the terror of tiny tops, Jenny’s outfits for parental control were great! I LOVE the multicolor dress with the zipper up the back. I have looked all over your site, can you tell me where to find this dress? I click on links but it does not show items, just websites. Please consider listing the stores where the shoppers are, pictures of the outfits with clickable links to the clothes to buy online, and listings of all the clothing items. Jeannie you dress so cute and love your outfits, which this site has taken time to list, but we wanna see the make over items!
Thanks! Allie

I believe the store was Kitson, on Robertson Blvd in West Hollywood.
Oh great Cheryl! If you can tell me which specific outfits you liked, I can fwd you info.

I am a plus size women and there was an leopard dress that was featured on the episode where Jenny was wearing her 7 year old t-shirts. Can you help me with this?

I have no idea where to ask, so I’ll ask here. What actress did Jenny end up cutting her hair like? I can’t for the life of me remember her name, but I loved her hairstyle. I want to look up more photos of this actress. Her first name was Jennifer? Jessica?
