As you guys know, I love sharing things I learn that makes mai life better in every way. 5 years ago I met a passionate nutritionist who told me one thing that lured me into learning more about what she does. “My mission in life is to help people get their bodies in the best shape to fulfill their purpose in life.” Sign me up.
So, I’m tremendously proud to introduce Heewon An of www.Healtheelife.com.
Years ago, I used to be a normal sized girl working hard to build a dream here in LA. Healthwise, I worked out like crazy at the gym, and ate whatever I wanted, including things with hydrogenated oils (ugh, damn that Betty Crocker Funfetti Cake mix !), monosodium glutamate (the lazy excuse to good Asian food), and used the microwave for everything. After meeting Heewon, she taught me what those horrific ingredients actually do to your body and mind. And I also learned I was allergic to wheat. From that day on, the moment I dropped eating these toxic ingredients and eliminated wheat, I dropped 15 lbs and upped my energy and concentration into super high speed. I really believe it’s helped why I feel great enough to take on life’s ups and downs in such a positive, motivated way.
So I’m going to begin posting these videos to teach little tips Hee has taught me. This first one is about the damages from RADIATION. Let me know if you like more videos like this, and enjoy Mai Healthee Life!

Sucka for Sweets | I Heart Jeannie Mai
[...] Cups are around a store shelf somewhere to save me. How did this detox start? Well, my nutritionist Heewon, ...

Loved! Thanks Jeannie and Heewon – looking forward to more tips!
Jeannie, I met you at the Freedom & Fashion Show a few months ago! Did you ever get my email?!
Thank you for being so wonderful <3 !
Hey Sherry! No , I didn’t . What was it about?
It was basically about you and your awesomeness, haha.
I just resent it with a few additions. I hope you get it!
Have a beautiful weekend!~
These tips are definitely great! Keep them coming. Quick question, how do you put those strips onto a iphone??? It’s totally encased.
Oh, another thing. I know the microwave is the devil, but w/o using it to reheat or cook food, what are other recommendations for people to use to heat up their food? My sister uses a food steamer. I use a toaster oven. But are there other tips?
Thanks!
hey jeannie, i just wanted to tell you that you’re a very inspiring figure. i love “how do i look?”! I really admire your style, grace, personality, and kindness. It’s refreshing to see a makeover show where people leave happy and truly feel better about themselves. I want to do something creative that helps people like your work. Keep up the good work!
Hey Jeannie and Heewon, thanks for the video. I am very much into nutrition and appreciate healthy living. But how is it possible to completely remove the microwave out of your life?! It saves time and it’s convenient! Is it possible to balance this with your intake of antioxidants?
Oooh, good question! I’m going to twitter your question to @Healtheelife and have Hee answer!
Thanks so much for your questions!
@Patty – You just adhere the strips onto the back of the phone. The reason I have people put it inside the back cover is so that they don’t touch the strip while handling the phone. I found that most iPhone users have a case for their apple so that solves it!
@Kristina – Our modern world is filled with soooo much pollution and unseen radiation AND our food supply has sooo much less nutrients than just a few decades ago. Keeping that in mind, microwaving ADDS radiation and KILLS our foods nutrients and energy. It seems difficult but once you get a hang of it, omitting it out of your life isn’t that hard!
Yes I promise MORE tips from Healtheelife.com. Make sure to stop there and tell Hee hi!
