My fingers are gushing with excitement as I’m typing this blog out to you guys. Genevieve. The name alone just strikes the greatest feeling of joy when I think about the turning point Genevieve experienced on our show. The moment I met this woman, I was literally blown away by her beautiful, tender spirit. As host of How Do I Look, it’s always so hard for me to try to see someone the way they see themselves, because it’s usually completely stripped from the truth. Genevieve is the perfect example of that damaged perspective so many women experience from any situation or person from their past. My heart broke when Genevieve opened up to her sister at 0:33, because I TOTALLY notice that every time there’s a set of twins, people will distinguish them through this terrible description.
I’m excited for you guys to see Genevieve’s story, and more miracle makeover stories in our season coming ahead. This Saturday is the big premiere and I’m so excited! I’ll be in New York watching 3 hours ahead, so pls do tweet me @jeanniemai, or Facebook post me any of your thoughts. This show, How Do I Look, is so special to me.( I write this as I’m watching a rerun.) When I am having a rough day, I can watch an episode and immediately feel uplifted and inspired to be the best that I can be. It’s very therapeutic. Each episode gives you a feeling of hope and one that is of sisterhood. It also calls for a self -evaluation of ourselves and the need for each other. Thank you Jeannie so much for the love, vivaciousness, and compassion that you bring to each and every episode. Even though I am 27, you’ve become an inspirational mentor to me. I’m definitely a big fan of your blog! Keep up the great work! Style Network chose the right person to pull off the How Do I Look concept! Please tell the How Do I Look staff that they are amazing!!! I could go on and on but I’ll stop here….I’ll have to send you a personal email at a later date. Can’t wait for the new season!!! Yay!!!

Michelle, thank you thank you for such a special email. THis reminds me of when I had wanted to pursue this dream of hosting women to feel their best to my parents, and they had a hard time understanding how it could make impact. Thank you for explaining it even better than I could.

You are amazing. I love how you empower women and find countless ways to bring out the best in them even though they may be cougars with claws in the beginning. I also love how you always find the right words to say and and really analyzing and making each individual’s case special like this: “Genevieve is the perfect example of that damaged perspective so many women experience from any situation or person from their past.” I love watching your vides and you’re so inspiring, keep up the great work and don’t change one bit cuz you rock girl!
