Mai #1 Cure for the Flu: Wellness
2013
First off, I heard about this stuff from a tree hugging friend of mine…and all of her friends surrounding her on that day, that it was best stuff on the planet to take when fighting off or defending from getting sick. I’d like to say I was wary at first, but when your friend’s doing crazy things like eating tree sap and gets overjoyed about yarn, you get curious.
So I picked some up from Whole Foods (call your local store, I’ve found some that don’t carry it), and kept it around me on set while shooting “How Do I Look.” Lo and behold, the moment I so much as felt a sneeze coming on, I would take 3 full droppers of the (horrible tasting) stuff and voila, be perfectly fine the next day. On days where I would already catch the cold and feel it heading towards doomsville, I would load up on the stuff and sure enough, gone OR 80% better the next day.
Even better, check out the reviews on Amazon that rave about the stuff. I was shocked to see they mimic the same way I felt!
In essence, pick up some Wellness and keep at home and another for travel. Couple of other interesting facts:
- I don’t find that the pills work as well. Stick to drops.
- If you travel with the formula for airplanes, carry the smaller size that is 2 oz. Carry on limit to liquids is 3 oz.
- Again this works as a deterrent if you’re lightly coming down with something, an enhancer to your immune system should you may be around germs, or are ill and want to boost getting better with the combination of rest & fluids.
- I feel I have now discovered the all hale combo pack when it comes to being sick since I came home with a bad flu after I couldn’t find this stuff in Pennsylvania, and that is Wellness drops, and this immune building juice from Uzmee!
Here’s to a healthy 2013!
