#31. I have friends who will actually go to the trouble each year to get me a wheat-free bday cake I can eat. God bless u babes!!

#30. My job is to make people feel fan-freakin-tastic about who they are. I get to do it whether I’m working or not.

The spectacular talented crew of my show How Do I Look and I just wrapped up our second season up with a memorable holiday party. When I describe these guys as spectacular, I mean it down to every glitz of the word. Not only is every person on our crew genuine and dedicated to making each episode it’s very best– but they take the personal time and effort to ensure our How Do I Look guests feel as special as they are. Faith Hill isn’t just beautiful..

She’s sweet as can be. Recently sat with Faith Hill to talk about her new “scent” on life, love, and her dream if she wasn’t a performer. She’s drop dead gorggge in person-it’s not even funny. I liked how during the preparation of the interview she was so appreciative of my crew as they miced her, lit her, and offered her perfume for all of their wives. Humility is hot.

A few months ago I found out about  a nursing home that cares for elderly people who no longer have the ability to care for themselves. Some are disabled, some single or double amputees, and after visiting I saw that all were so full of heart. After hearing about their “Cocktail Fridays”, (evenings with Myles serving yummy virgin drinks), seeing their schedule mapped out with movie nights, and meeting a few of the patients who would come out to visit on the set of my show, How Do I Look,  I quickly learned that the patients and I shared one major thing in common- we look forward to having any reason to celebrate the life the we have.  Read more...
