Isn’t she lovely? Our very own Jeannie Mai fits right in with Tinseltown’s A-list on the Golden Globes red carpet in her stunning custom red satin gown by Italian couture designer Ines Di Santo. The How Do I Look? host couldn’t resist going Old Hollywood glam, and styled her famously blue-streaked, jet-black locks into retro, long curls.
The fashion expert sparkled like the stars with glittering jewels and box clutch. She’s even got the pose down!

I received the most amazing news that may or may not rock your socks off, but it sure did mine, thats why I have sandals on.
As some of you may know from my previous tweets and facebook status, I am co-hosting the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Arrival Special with Carson Daly and Natalie Morales at 7pm / 6pm central LIVE on NBC. Which is superb because he’s just adorable and she’s stunning. I’m just the genius.

Little Alexandria here was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer on Thanksgiving 2011. She is 4 years old and will be having surgery in the coming days to remove a kidney.
I truly believe God makes everything happen for a reason. I believe that even if we can’t see it or understand it now, in the bigger picture I trust that we affect one another to do great or become greater together and apart. When I watched this video of Alex, I could immediately see that Alex has the power to create hope, faith, and change through all of us around her that hear her story.

I’m so excited about this year ahead. One thing that I really enjoy doing is setting goals whether it’s New Year’s or Aug 17th. I’m kind of obsessed with goal setting because it feels so good to see yourself challenged, and to become better through the process no matter where you land.

Mai Holidays- Part 1

The holidays are so important to me. As I’ve gotten older I don’t care so much about the presents, I’m all about the feeling of everyone you love together in one place. I just busted thru my family albums here at home in San Jose and wanna share pics with you thru the holidays! This was me when I was about 13, (shuddit, you love the perm), and the people in the picture are my little cousin, my aunts, and my grandfather the very first year they all came to America from Vietnam. It was so exciting because there were 13 people living in our 3 bedroom home, and the stove was covered in bubbling pots of Pho because duh, that’s what we Mai’s have for Christmas!
