So, how amazeballs is this aquatic underworld stage? Karl Lagerfeld pulled out all the stops creating this cray ‘underwater’ runway for the Spring 2012 Paris Fashion Week Chanel show…. It comes complete with a giant stingray and dazzling all-white decor of coral, seaweed, seashells and even a massive seahorse suspended in midair.!!! And get this, Florence Welsh from Florence and the Machine preformed live, providing the soundtrack for the show. Um. WOW.

…………………and oh yeah, there was FASHION there too!!! Check the video for all of the fabooshy new looks!

I have been wanting to change it up from old faithful droid to the tech savvy iphone. Ok, I just really need all the applications in my life!

Like many of you I have been hearing rumors of the new iphone 5 coming out soon so was holding my breathe (and my current phone contract) until this baby came out, so was eagerly anticipating the announcement today.

Ok we were all a bit bummed to find out the iphone 5 was all hype, but doing further research into the iphone 4s it seems that they managed to improve on something that was already amazeballs!

The 4s has an better camera, which means better quality pics for my bugs! It has new insides too, which make it faster and makes the battery last longer! hahah, don’t you love my tech talk? It also has a new OS with over 200 new features and has icloud, which is super convienent for busy ppl like me! And get this friends, the most awesome new feature on it is SIRI, a voice controlled personal assistant, um. WOW.

So it’s not the iphone 5 but its still pretty frikkin cool if you ask me! I will def be ordering mine on, they are available on October 14th!!!!!

First it was Lady Gaga and her meat dress… Now the newest food-fashion-fusion is this bizarre chicken wing necklace sported by Nikki Minaj in this photo shoot. While I’m alllll about mai foods and mai fashions, this necklace is even a bit to cray for mai taste(buds). I do have to give her Minajesty  mad mentions for being able to pull this interesting accessory off. You go girl!

You know what they say…….Ain’t no thang but the chicken blang! What do you guys think, would YOU rock the chicken blang?

We all know monday mornings can be hard, in fact to me it is possibly the hardest part of mai week! We just had two amazing days off to go out of town, hit the clubs, or just hang in our pajamas all weekend (as I wanted to!) and now its back to the grind. Sigh.

So friends, I wanted to share with you some of mai tips to make those mondays more merry!

• Start your morning with your fave jams! Playing something upbeat helps lift mai mood and get mai head nodding as I am getting mai face on for the day.
• Wear your fave dress or shirt. Looking good makes you feel good, feeling good makes you start your day off in the right direction.
• Think about what tasks you enjoy and also what you might want to get out of the way on Monday morning. Look at the smaller, easier tasks that you can get done quickly . This will make you feel accomplished & productive and most certainly will help the day fly by!
• Treat yourself on mondays! Plan for your fave grubs on your lunch break with your bestie co-worker to chat about your weekend. This will give you something to think about the first half of your day, which we all know is the longest part of the week!
• Plan for the evening! If you have something fun and exciting to look forward, your day might go a little faster. Plan your dinner… pick out your outfit… check movie times…!

So bugs, go ahead and try out these tips and start your week on a high and positive note!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAVE A FANTABULOUS SATURDAY BUGS!

Let me pre-warn you by letting you know this is not mai normal fun fashion post or travel blog, But I wanted to take a minute to give a lil hallelujah and praise to the reasons you bugs have been able to follow mai footsteps and get a live stream into mai life. And I credit it all to Social Media.

Over the course of the year I have been slowly techifying myself and learning just how important social media is to mai brand, mai life and my fans. It’s been an amazing ride and thanks to outlets such as twitter, Facebook and instagram you were able to follow me in mai escapades and most importantly, I was able to follow yours back!

I will be honest, when it came to where to start I was completely clueless. It was like learning to ride a bike and I kept falling off. I had to enlist the help of social media wizard Lauren Jones. I first met Lauren when she approached me to do some beauty segments for Perez Hilton’s fashion website, CoCo Perez.

When I met with her to film some short videos, we got to talking and she drilled the importance of social media into my being. Until then I had no idea the audiences I was missing and what this could accomplish for me and mai brand. As she does all of his social media and original online content for the entire Perez Hilton Brand I just had to pick her brain more.

In this past year, I have gained over 20,000 followers on twitter, 17,000 on Facebook, 18,000 on opensky.com  and the list goes on and on and on. I have gained such insight into the lives of mai bugs and have been able to let you into mine. You traveled with me on mai journey from  the “How Do I Look” reveals to live tweets from the Golden Globes Red Carpet, and I have social media to thank for.
