Mai Closet: Ep 1106 with Allondrea
// August 23rd, 2010 // $tyle $tealz!, Looking Good, Mai Closet
Oh man. Was this episode latex overload. I seriously couldn’t even LOOK at my leggings after shooting this episode. Alondrea (the guest on this week’s show) made me question everything containing spandex I owned. Thanks Alondrea, I own like 15 oversized boho baggy blouses and harem pants now. But all is not lost! This was a fanTAsTically fun episode for outfits of course! What did you guys think? Tell me your faves, cuz we sure did lock down some purdy finds!

Nothing to do with this episode, but you might want to take a gander at what I and others have to say about the latest episode where you took an aspiring Steampunk designer for a makeover prompted by her mother and sister. http://bit.ly/aaxWz5
To sum it up? You did wrong.
Hey Margrethe, thanks for the heads up.
I know. Trust me. Guiding Jena through this was hard, because she was, and is, GORGEOUS from beginning to end. The moment I saw her I snatched her pint size self into a mega huge hug because she’s just an incredible fiery spirit through and through. And I LOVED her raw style, are you kidding? What I didn’t love was the fact that she wasn’t so hot on herself. Jena steampunk style was actually the least of problems here. It was more about her lack of confidence, and her inability to see her beauty with or without the layers of her look. The reason why Jena’s reveal at the end was so emotional for all of us was because it was the first time we all saw Jena stand tall with a sparkling smile and tell us she loved her look. That’s the response to “How Do I Look” we love.
I went head over knees for the black skinny jeans and top you had had on. Your dressing style is one of the reasons i love the program “How do i look”.
Jeannie on the episode: Cougar Catastrophe what kind of white pants were you wearing and where did you get them.
Thanks.
