Happy Easter Mai love bugs. May you enjoy time with your family and your easter egg hunts!

Your light is the only light we need
as we travel through life’s mystery
Your word the only voice we hear
that still small voice that leads us
to the place where we should be
Your presence is the only company we need
as we walk this narrow road
Your fellowship the warmth we crave
to help us on our way
May the truth of Easter
The joy of Easter
And the blessings of Easter
Be with us this day and all days
AMEN
I heart this. Its such an inspiration for all mai lil bugs out there.

I LOVE reading. Remember Reading Rainbow w/ Levar Burton? I used to dream I could be one of those kids who would share their favorite must reads. And after reading this book, I realized I can start doing that now.
So, welcome to Mai Book Club.
I really enjoyed reading ‘Failure to Thrive’. It was written by a dear friend of mine, Jeffrey Oliver, who is one of those guys who takes real life sitches and curveballs it into a humorous (usually making fun of himself), direction that you never would have originally thought, but then realize is true. So it was exciting to me to see him take this perspective and layer it into a book. Now that book itself has a dark comedic edge, and all this involves morality, marriage, and parenthood. I’ve always been attracted to stories of people facing opposition and here, the main character who is a Canadian TV producer, gets bad news regarding his health and catches his wife cheating. He decides to make a very important pledge to himself, and proceeds to make it through his life with a unique perspective that enlightened me in a way I didn’t expect.
I loved reading it and laughing out loud over the unexpected situations, that totally have happened to people in my life. This books makes it relatable to lead those friends through anything.
Hope you grab a copy- you’ll enjoy it. And make sure u share your thoughts here!

They actually are the biggest winners. Makeover week proves this. <3
‘The Biggest Loser’: Makeovers + First Lady Michelle Obama
We’re used to seeing “The Biggest Loser” contestants roll back the pounds. This week, they rolled back the years.
Several of the six finalists earned makeovers that made them look younger, none more so than Chris, shown at right.
With her gray bob and round middle, Chris used to play the part of Mrs. Claus each holiday season. But Mrs. Claus is going to need a wig and a pillow if she wants to pull off that gray, dowdy look this Christmas.
The makeovers were courtesy of celebrity stylist Ken Paves and fashionista Jeannie Mai, but the stakes were higher than ever. These were not just any makeovers. These were White House-worthy makeovers, as that’s exactly where the contestants ended up for their big reveal.
The Biggest Loser contestants head to Washington, DC in tonight’s episode and will get face time with the First Lady, Michelle Obama in a makeover episode. None of the contestants would dare show up without a complete makeover and the Biggest Loser Crew has got Jeannie Mai to handle the wardrobe department while Stylist Ken Paves will handle the hair and makeup.
