Then we moved on to the big toys. Airbrush guns with tweaked out teal.

One final shot with the skills to bring my blue dream to life, Uzmee Krakovszki, makeup artist to my show How Do I Look on Style Network. Here’s her personal website, where you can see Uzmee’s kind of a veteran to sick looks like this. And are you ready?? She not only whipped out my makeup, but popped my hair in place, too!

Once we were done, I took off just in time to the red, I mean, blue carpet. Thanks Faith Connexion for the fab frock!

Where was I ? The biggest *nutty* party in Hollywood on March 26, 2011, Perez Hilton’s Blue Ball birthday! And it was totes fun. Perez certainly knows how to celebrate life, and I will actually say this bday topped his birthday last year with Katy Perry rollin in on an elephant and Liza Minelli serenading Perez. I had so much fun sippin “Teddy Twisters” named after his lil pooch and watching celebs like Debbie Gibson, Macy Gray, Darren Criss, and personal shout outs from the ultimate queen Lady Gaga, Charice Pempengco belting out “Born This Way”, and the ultimate diva icon, Dita Von Teese. Which btw, that Dita has the most powerful way to combine femininity and sensuality. Her work was so empowering and artistic, and you could actually see the entire crowd moved in appreciation of the strength a woman is.

Big honor to be

I’ve always been a nail whore. And I’m not talking about french tip manicures or nude pink polish. I’m talkin divalicious, show stopping, secretly channeling my inner Sheneneh, acrylic tipped with airbrushed stars and sparkles galore. Maybe it’s cuz I’m Asian and we rule nail salons (world domination, here we come) or maybe it’s from growing up in San Jose where claws like this were couture. Either way, I can’t shake it off me. There isn’t an episode of my Style Network show, “How Do I Look“, or any other red carpet pic you’ll ever see where mai nails aren’t pimped out! Well, as soon as I heard my homegirl and fave nail tech, Naomi Yasuda of Hello Beautiful Salon in Brooklyn, NYC, was off Gaga’s tour and back ready to get busy, I tweeted her to hook me up. Here’s my video of my beloved experience until I can make it back. The nails ran a total of about $80, (but I really went all out with designs, it doesn’t have to cost that much.) The process is a trip, and the salon is OFF THE CHAIN to just see in itself. This weekend was Perez’ party, and yea yea yea it was everything u’ve read it was. Elephant entrances with Katy Perry to Liza Minnell lovin on Perez, aerial performers to Rupaul working the dancefloor. I’ll give u the dish u really wanna know -  mai fave moments…

Bday boy Perez is an absolute gent in person. So sweet, was glowing, (well, he was in gold lame) and wow, even thinner than the last time I saw him. He was totally running around being the accommodating host- I really love hosts who do that! Made me like him even more cuz he cared bout his guests.

Katy Perry always looks smashtastic so obvi she rockd the red glitz.  

Alison Sweeney- we actually both walked in last year’s Susan G Komen’s 8th annual breast cancer event, but I’ve never gotten a chance to personally meet her. Um–I’m a new fan. Not only is she a super proud mama of 2 UHdorable kids, but she’s drop dead down to earth, and how do u not love a champ to overcome her fear of midgets..or at least for this second so we could take the pic, ha! (They were following her actually.) Anyway, I’m excited to get her book The Mommy Diet, because she’s baring all her secrets and honest truth to looking like the way she does AFTER kids! Uh, I’ll take the tips now instead of waiting for hell to freeze over

Nobody dresses up for theme parties anymore, and it bugs me. At my own parties, my guests know better than to come not dressed to play. I heart Mel B and Leona Lewis even more. Represented the “Carn-evil” affair. 

Gaga sending her love from afar would have personally be enough of a present for me…

…but when Liza Minnelli came out to the stage and poured out such love for Perez sitting front row, the entire room was overjoyed with her energy. There was seriously nothing cuter. It was such a moment.

Happiest birthday Perez! Still don’t get why we have to draw pee and things on people, but whatever.

Oh, and of course..my Gaga-licious sighting? Ok, there I was on Delta airlines red eye to NY, and in she comes to sit in my row, in a strait up red zip up velour tracksuit with a super million watt bedazzled jacket that could have lit up the city itself. No, this outfit was not cute, but as we all know Gaga makes it work like no other. She had full drag makeup on with lashes longer than mine (and if anyone knows me they know I put RuPaul to shame with my falsies.) Long story short, at the end of our flight I didn’t know if I should have even done this since it’s like 5 AM and nobody feels like talking- but I said, “Lady G, I just have to tell you thanks. Thank you for empowering young people with creativity and a message of love… And girl, I haven’t see velour like that since Hugh Hef and Britney’s bridal shower but wow u make it work.”  She died and gave me a hug with thanks. I love Gaga, man.

Why is Thanksgiving only one day? As much as I am thankful every single day for my bombtastic life, can we please consider having more holidays where we bring people, food, and thanks together?? Hallmark would have a field day, and we need pumpkin things in March. Please consider this.

Although I love everything you’ve given me, there are just a few faves I just have to give you props on. Like my mom. You couldn’t have hooked me up with a more perfect woman to raise me. I owe my career to her because she gave me the freaking personality I have to even be anything on tv, and who else would teach me to put fake lashes when I was 6? And these families I have on both coasts. I mean, come on. Who else would ever have thought to give me the most warm, affectionate loving people who celebrate everything no matter how many times it takes for each kid in the family to enjoy on the east coast, and the most rowdy, FoB (fresh off the boat) fantastic fun family on the west coast to rock out with in San Jose?? I can’t even stand it.  Oh, and then there’s my j-o-b. Are you serious with giving me the best career a girl could ever dream for where I play dress up to get onscreen and make some stylish smiles?? My path to empowering people is barely just beginning, and I’m so appreciative of the lil signs you give me to push me along. And omg (pardon the pun) you’re pretty spectacular with these friends you’ve filled in my life. I have such a creative combo of caring people, and can write a book about what makes a good friend. (They get your inappropriate jokes, help you get the ugly cry out, bring you food from fave places when they think of you, yes, TELL YOU when you’re fat, oh and my fave, actually volunteer to help you pack & move.) Then there’s so many fantastic things in my every day too that I hafta squeel over, like mint fro yo when I can find it, gorgeous Runyon canyon romps to the top, the way Nicole Millen fits, the really burnt roasted brussel sprouts, any great sale, Ca Kho (Vietnamese claypot fish), the McQueens in Lady Gaga’s video, toothless kids, Asset spanx, socks from Target, naps, my legs that never gain weight, Modern Family, a hug back, my job as a server way back when. And Lasik.

So if I had to find something to ask for it’d be making Thanksgiving longer, that’s all. And maybe slipping America a chill pill over things like Adam Lambert. Otherwise You’re on it like a bonnet!
