There’s so much to pray for today.
First off, let me explain where I take my prayers: My prayer box. It’s sitting at the top of Runyon Canyon here in Los Angeles, and it’s a living miracle itself. In May last year, I hiked up, chained it up there, put one prayer of protection in it, and watched it fill up with fellow hopefilled Runyon hikers I’ve never met. 4 days later, it was gone, never to be seen again, with a mean Facebook message to me that “People shouldn’t be allowed to pray.” Bitter much? Whatevs, I prayed for them! Fast forward to Jan 1st this year, the box returns, on it’s side, all dirty and mangled, with only 2 prayers in it, ONE BEING MINE.
Faith never fails.
So today I’m praying about CPAF and Haiti. I’m also praying that you as my friend reading will be touched in any way to lend your own support in these situations as you feel lead. It only takes a second to vote, contribute, or even pray. Thank you for reading. I freakn heart u guys.
1. Please click to vote HERE to protect one of the only shelters for sexually/domestically abused Asian women.
2. I have so many friends wondering how they can help Haiti. YOU CAN. No matter what you have or who you are. I found an amazing link (thank you Twitter!) that allows ANYONE with any means see how they can personally help. Join HERE to view the ongoing events and call-ins to make your contribution through time, money, most of all, hope.
3. And of course, always email me at jmail@iheartjeanniemai.com if you have any personal prayer requests that I can take to the top for ya. I’d be honored. Have a gorgeous Sunday friends.

Hi Jeannie,
Are you related to Jeannie Mai the late Vietnamese singer? I love your style show so keep up the good work…your clothes and makeup look amazing! I told my friend Viet Hoang who is editor of Yellow Magazine in Houston about you and he’s really interested in interviewing you for his cool magazine so I hope to see you on its cover soon. That will be so cool if this idea comes to fruition and I’ll get to meet you in person at the photo shoot:)

[...] those of you who have followed my blog, you also know about my beloved Prayer Box I’ve placed at the steepest tip top of Runyon Canyon, a beautiful hillside hike here in [...]
I DON’T wanna burst your bubble on the PRAYER BOX Jeannie but…A. It looked like the DOGS LOVE the box, I can GUESS why!
B. The WORST thing you could have done was put it on TV! If those A-HOLES that wrecked that church the other day get a hold of it, I’m pretty sure it’s TOAST! Anyways, that’s my view, and YOUR REALLY CUTE!
